Our summer rendezvous finally became a reality as the Dr.Localize family, together with parents, spouses, and children, gathered in Tuan Chau – Ha Long from May 30 to June 1, 2026 for a journey filled with connection, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We set off on a pleasant summer morning and were welcomed by Tuan Chau with blue seas, refreshing breezes, and a peaceful atmosphere. This year, the group stayed in two neighboring villas. Just a few steps apart, they provided the perfect setting for everyone to spend more time together, especially our youngest members.
It did not take long for the children to settle into their new surroundings. From the beach to the swimming pool, from chasing one another under the sun to flying kites against the blue sky, they quickly immersed themselves in a world filled with laughter. Water guns and colorful kites may not have been extravagant gifts, but they were enough to turn an ordinary summer afternoon into a cherished childhood memory.
On the first evening, everyone gathered to watch a fireworks display light up the Ha Long sky. Though it lasted only a few minutes, the excitement in the children’s eyes, the delighted smiles, and the spontaneous “wows” from both young and old made the moment truly special.
The following day, as International Children’s Day approached, the children received another delightful gift: a dolphin and seal show. Their enthusiastic applause and attentive gazes reflected just how much they enjoyed the performance. And perhaps it was not only the children who were captivated; many adults also found themselves revisiting a small piece of their own childhood through those moments.
One of the highlights of the trip was the Gala Night, where laughter continued through a series of games and bonding activities. Say The Word brought endless fun and plenty of cheerful laughter, while Color Your Trip offered something different—an experience that was more reflective, emotional, and deeply connecting. Grandparents, parents, and children all gathered around white tote bags, transforming them into unique works of art. Each design told its own story, reflected its creator’s personality, and carried the distinctive touch of a family. No two creations were alike, yet they all shared one thing in common: the joy of creating something meaningful together.
And then, as all good journeys do, the trip came to an end.
Three days and two nights may not seem long, but they were enough to create memories that will stay with us for years to come. Shared meals, conversations that lasted longer than usual, laughter by the pool, moments spent by the sea, and countless photographs captured the spirit of this year’s summer getaway. Most importantly, this was a family-oriented trip. The youngest members of the Dr.Localize family not only enjoyed a memorable holiday but also had the opportunity to connect, make new friends, and create precious childhood memories together. Perhaps that was the most meaningful gift of all as we celebrated International Children’s Day on June 1.
This year’s Family Summer Rendezvous has come to a beautiful close, leaving behind cherished memories and moments of togetherness. We look forward to meeting again in future summers, creating new experiences and adding more meaningful chapters to the story of Dr.Localize.
